Five buildings

At an easily accessible, highly visible intersection.

This property is easily accessible, highly visible, and located on the busy corner of Columbia and Summit.  Columbia Street is a main thoroughfare that connects Kamloops downtown business district with the TransCanada Highway.  There are three entrances which provide ready access to the property and the tenants’ businesses.  Parking is scattered throughout the property for even greater convenience for patrons.  The parking lot is lit to provide 24 hour safety. The buildings are predominantly constructed with plate glass frontages as well as decorative block accents and baked enamel brick with metal mansard facing the roof.

McCleaners exclusively occupies the first building’s entire 1,967 square feet and provides dry cleaning as well as self-serve laundry facilities for their customers. The similarly constructed second building is shared space between Donut King in 1,757 square feet and First Choice Haircutters in 1,009 square feet.  Parking wraps around the building giving easy access to their customers. In 2011, Mr. Lube constructed an automotive service centre for its unique system and business format, and provides convenient automotive services for their customers. It also enjoys space for several parking stalls as well as easy access for customers to wait.

The fourth building similarly constructed in the 1980s, is shared occupancy for three thriving businesses. In the 2,500 square feet of space, Ruckers enjoys a loyal following by hosting birthdays and special events for children and adults alike.  Virtual Reality is a popular new attraction that its management has added for their customers’ enjoyment.  Fun & Games occupies 2,400 square feet and is also a popular attraction for young at heart.  The remaining 2,000 square feet in the building is tenanted by Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt who provides eat-in and take-out frozen yogurt and related products for their customers, as well as extensive patio space for their enjoyment in the summer months. Mr. Mike’s is a very popular restaurant that serves both lunch and dinner. The building was extensively renovated in 2012 for its customers’ enjoyment in the spacious 4,620 square foot building.  There is also a spacious patio that is very busy during the summertime.
