The Arpeg Evolution

From our agricultural roots to our diverse holdings today, the Arpeg Group has evolved, focusing on private equity and JV partnerships that align with our strengths and commitment to long-term success.


The Mathisens purchased the land in 1968 and began farming in 1969, successfully raising award-winning purebred French Charolais show cattle and beef.

We focus on providing each of our tenants in the multi-family, office, retail and residential sectors a premium experience through our unique hospitality offering, BeyondWalls™. As a family company, we are committed to conducting business and relationships as an extension of our own family and apply the same people-first values the company was originally founded on.

Our proven track record and experience in the local real estate industry has recently catapulted our business into real estate development. Guided by the same founding principles, we are addressing the societal needs of our local community by providing much needed housing supply throughout British Columbia.

The Arpeg Group owns and operates over 750 units throughout the Pacific Northwest including Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and parts of Washington.
